Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore Edinburgh on foot. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable for a short stay, although some maintenance issues were noticeable. The staff was polite and professional, offering helpful assistance. The dining experience was basic but consistent. Overall, a decent option for a stay in Edinburgh.
The hotel is in a great location, at the heart of the old town but in a quiet spot, making it perfect for both business and pleasure. The rooms, while more like a studio with everything in one room, met all our needs well. The service was outstanding, especially in helping during a medical emergency, and offering various conveniences like printing our boarding passes. The dining experience with local produces was a standout, although communication issues were encountered with the cleaning staff. However, the hotel could use some maintenance as there were marks on the walls and some appliances were not functioning properly.
The hotel is situated in a quiet location within easy reach of tourist attractions, offering spacious rooms with 2 toilets and showers, perfect for accommodating 4 people. However, the rooms need some maintenance as they appear a bit worn and bland.
The hotel offers extremely spacious and comfortable rooms with fresh, clean bed linen, plenty of hot water, modern amenities, and great value compared to other hotels. It is very clean and modern, situated close to the city center. However, some noise from glass bottle emptying late at night was a downside.
The hotel had a lovely room with separate kitchen and bathroom, a spacious bed, and a cozy lounge area. It was equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, making me wish I had stayed the entire weekend. However, being located one floor below the reception was a downside, and the fire doors were a bit of a nuisance as they constantly banged shut and didn't stay open. The rooms were clean but showed signs of needing refurbishment.
My stay at the hotel was lovely! The rooms were very close together, but they had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. I loved the fact that it was like an apartment within a hotel, and the beds were super comfortable. However, I could hear other people around, which was a bit of a downside.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, but some maintenance issues like water leakage and worn carpets brought down the overall quality. The service was a bit rushed and unclear, though the location was convenient for exploring the city. Unfortunately, the dining options were limited and not very appealing.
I must say, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the service was friendly and helpful. The location was amazing, although a bit tricky to find. The dining options were convenient, and the facilities were top-notch. Overall, a great value for the price.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very spacious, which was ideal for a few days away. However, being located on the ground floor next to the lobby meant dealing with noise from other guests leaving. The separate bedroom was great for older kids, although it was a bit chilly to sleep. The service was hit or miss; some staff members were incredibly helpful and polite, while others were generally unhelpful. Thankfully, there were helpful individuals willing to assist with using appliances in the unit. The location, however, was a definite highlight of my stay. It was just off the Royal Mile, close to many tourist spots, and conveniently away from late-night noise. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing, with a limited breakfast offering that felt like a rip-off. On the bright side, the hotel's facilities were spotlessly clean and well-equipped for a week's stay.
The hotel is in a prime location, perfect for exploring the city with ease. The rooms, while comfortable, could benefit from some updates and better airflow, especially in the warmer months. The service was friendly and helpful, but check-in could be quicker with more staff available. The dining experience was below expectations, with issues regarding privacy and value for money. Overall, a great location with room for improvement in rooms and dining.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, making it a great choice for those looking for a quiet bottom floor apartment. However, the noise from other guests leaving was a minor annoyance. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff being accommodating and friendly while others were rude and unhelpful. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to the town, restaurants, and attractions, with convenient spots like Royal Mile, Holyrood Park, and Arthurs Seat nearby. The dining experience left much to be desired, with limited options and unclear descriptions of what was provided. Despite some shortcomings, the hotel overall offers value for money in a central Edinburgh location.
My stay was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was cozy and well-equipped but suffered from noise issues due to creaky floorboards and ill-fitting windows. The lack of reliable WiFi was disappointing. The service was efficient but I had some trouble reaching staff and there were unpleasant smells in the room. The location was ideal, central and quiet, with convenient amenities nearby. The dining experience fell short with untimely deliveries and subpar quality. Overall, it was a decent stay with room for improvement.
